Library cards are a valuable school supply for students of all ages!
Studies show that students who use the library and read at home, perform better in school and are more likely to continue to use the library as a source of lifelong learning.
“You can learn so much at our library,” said Jamie Schlenk, Youth Department Head. “Our librarians are trained to help students find research materials for a variety of school projects.” Students and adults will discover the Library can provide movies, audio books, print books, eBooks, and free online research tools which provide information about a wide range of topics.
College-bound students may also benefit from attending free test-prep events offered seasonally by the Library’s Teen Department.
Pleasure reading, movies, as well as educational and entertainment events for all ages are accessible with a Library card. Registration is simple; adults may complete an online form, or drop by the Library with their driver’s license or state I.D. which displays their current address.
