Teen and Adult Department Head

The Library is seeking an experienced professional to manage its Teen & Adult Department. Responsibilities will include supervising department staff, providing and cultivating excellent customer service, maintaining and developing collections, and creating and fostering opportunities for community engagement and interdepartmental collaborations. This individual will also oversee teen and adult programming, as well as contribute to the overall development of the Library as a member of the management team. More details may be found here.

Annual salary is negotiable based on experience. Benefits are included.

Director of Development

Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Library Foundation

The Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Library Foundation (‘the Foundation”) is accepting applications for a part-time Director of Development.  The Director of Development will report directly to the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

The primary purpose of the Director of Development position is to establish and implement fundraising strategies and actions to support and promote the activities of the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Library.

Specific duties and responsibilities will include activities related to fundraising, such as:  managing donor relations, community relations and branding strategy.  Successful applicants will be:  self-motivated, energetic, knowledgeable about the community and have a proven record of fundraising.
