Tween DIY To Go: Read & Recipe Edition

Tween DIY To Go: Read & Recipe Edition

Miss Andrea has cooked up something fresh and new for the popular Tween DIY To Go monthly activities – The Read & Recipe Edition! Each month, a new book recommendation and a DIY recipe to complement the book will be available to pick up at the Youth Services reference desk.

Things to know…

  • Monthly, starting in September, you’ll pick up a recommended book and a recipe card that goes along with it!
  • Several copies of each month’s book will be available at the Youth Services reference desk to check out – ask a librarian for assistance!
  • Some of the recipes will require more adult assistance than others. For all the recipes, you’ll need parental permission and adult supervision while working in the kitchen. Safety first!

At the end of the year in April, Tween DIY To Go participants should plan to prepare and share a favorite recipe at the Cook & Book Party here at the Library!

September’s Book is The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies with a fun recipe for a cool summer treat!

Through this program, we hope you explore some new worlds of both fiction and flavor! 🙂
