Headphones

The Library offers public computers for use by visitors, but is unable to provide headphones. Connection points are available.

Interlibrary Loan

Library customers with a card may use the Interlibrary Loan service if they meet policy requirements.

Internet Use

Library Cards

The Library offers a variety of cards to individuals using the Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library.

Library Notices

Library customers who have shared their email address with the Library will receive a pre-notice before an item is due.

The loan periods, limits, renewal options, and hold policies are set by the Evergreen consortium

Customers who lose or damage Library materials will be responsible for the retail replacement cost of each item.

The Library takes photographs, videos and other images at library-sponsored events and events at the Library.

Bulletin boards are to be used for publicity about Library events, cultural, and educational events.

We offer printing and copying services with fees associated with these services based on the cost of the supplies

Proctoring Exams

Library staff will proctor distance learning exams for resident card holders and HMMPL nonresident card holders.

Promotion of Library Programs & Services

Library staff may disperse funds for advertising and promoting Library programs and services.

Social Media

Social software includes any site used by the Library that facilitates the sharing of opinions about library-related subjects.

Study Rooms

Some restrictions and guidelines apply to the use of study rooms. Read the full policy before requesting a study room.

Unattended Children

Our staff encourages children to come explore the Library, but we do have policies in place for unattended children.

Video Surveillance

The purpose of video surveillance is first and foremost the protection of the physical safety of customers and employees.

Weather & Other Emergency Closing

When weather-related or other emergencies prevent the Library from being able to provide adequate service, the Public Library will be closed.
